iOS 26 Beta 3 changes

The third beta of iOS 26 is now available for iPhone in developer beta. Below we collect all the changes of iOS 26 beta 3 compared to the previous version.

First, the iOS 26 wallpaper is now available in more color options. Four modes include Shadow, Sky (previous default), Halo, and Dusk.

The behavior of the left alignment app icon on the iPhone dock has also been fixed. The behavior recovered is centered when fewer than four symbols are used.

Now to compare Liquid Glass betas 2 and 3 in the Music app:

The darker version is the latest design. However, in other applications such as photos, Liquid Glass is not much different:

On iPad, you can now find your cursor by shaking it to make it giant for a moment (like on a Mac). iPadOS 26 also adds support for scrolling between full-screen and windowed apps. Back on the Mac, there’s a new lake inspired by Lake Tahoe wallpaper.

Apple also slightly increased the saturation on the Photos app icon, reducing the blurry appearance it had at smaller sizes.

The files icon now has a more purple dash in the gradient.
