We all know the feeling we get after dropping our iPhone and immediately checking the glass for any damage. Now imagine dropping your iPhone from the plane. It happened over the summer for conservationist Ashley Prange.
Prang was filming a video clip from inside a small plane over Germany when her iPhone 16 Pro was suddenly pulled from her hands and exited the plane. The plane fell at an altitude of more than 2,600 feet while the plane was traveling at a speed of 110 knots.
I assumed that was the end of it. However, she opened the Find My app and saw the phone’s last location deep in a sprawling forest near her cousin’s home in the Rhine Valley. Since her credit card and driver’s license were inside the bag, she decided the search was worth a try.
Hours later, in the middle of the dense forest, she spotted him. The iPhone was completely intact. The screen does not have any cracks. It ran without a problem. Prang says it’s up to survival Bellroy wallet case And the quality of the Apple design of the iPhone 16 Pro.
Meanwhile, I can drop my AirPods three feet off the ground and almost lose both buds… an impressive drop test, and what a great way to get a skydiving perspective video without doing the jump yourself!
